I downloaded Fedora Core 2 Test 2 and installed it (thought it would be
a nice project for the weekend to get it up and running) and I've got
to say it's really a great distro. I am still a 'newbie' as far as the
distro's i've used go (Xandros, Mandrake, RedHat and Fedora - must try
out Debian, Slack and maybe even Gentoo some time!) but this really is
superb.

If you are a GNOME user, I'd suggest this way over Mandrake 10.

Some niceties:
GNOME 2.6 (loads of new and improved stuff - I really do like the new
'computer' icon on the desktop, even if this new spatial mode is taking
some getting used to)
Kernel 2.6
Evolution and GAIM

Anyone else tried it out? What did you think of it?

Also, do you think it's going to be a big job to upgrade it via
yum/aptget to FC2 final when it's out? I'd prefer not to download 4 CDs
again ;)
