[Lancaster] t21 with suse 9.1 question

Chistoph,

I've checked out how my Thinkpad T21 behaves when I close the lid. It
does not seem to go into suspend/hibernation. Only the screen is turned off.

I don't know yet if this is a limitation of the ACPI system (BIOS or
Linux) or if there's something that I need to set up. The SuSE
Professional v9.1 Reference manual does mention that not all functions
are yet fully functional.

I'll explore this further in due course.

BTW, do you have a full user manual for the T21? As I obtained my
machine 2nd hand, this was missing. I've not been able to find anything
more than brief/overall descriptions via the IBM web site. If you do
have the manual, please will you look for an identifying code or part
number that I could use to refer it.

Thanks

Ken Hough
