Tim,

Thanks for the two PCs which you have kindly donated to the LUG and I
collected today.

I've just been checking them out and found the following:

1. A 333MHz Pentium II / 64MB RAM / 4.3GB HD / 32X CDROM, 720k floppy
drive, S3 Verge video card and Realtek 10Mb/sec ethernet card.

2. A 350MHz Pentium II / 32MB RAM / 1.6GB HD / 40X CDROM, 1.44MB floppy
drive, Cirrus Logic CL-GD5434 video card, Realtek 10/100Mb/sec ethernet
card.

Both machines seem to be 100% OK.

As requested, I've wiped the hard drives (Using 'Autoclave' -- Thanks
for the lead on that one Mike)

The 720k floppy drive on PC 1. threw me for a while. Not having a spare
1.44MB drive handy, I temporarily transfered the hard drive to my
workbench PC to wipe it -- It's just about to finish.

The network cards and the video cards should configure easily under
Linux. I expect to get them set up over the next few days.

Again, on behalf of the group, many thanks.

Regards

Ken Hough
