[Lancaster] Help me select a distrob

AFAIK, Ubuntu uses DEB packages. Not too surprising as it's based on 
Debian. Mandriva, Fedora and SuSE all use RPM. Debian itself is a bit of 
a geek's distro. Personally, I find it a pain.

I don't know about Mandriva or Fedora, but I do know that SuSE includes 
utilities to allow it to make use of DEB packages.

SuSE has been consistantly reported to be reliable, stable and without 
major bugs -- unlike Mandriva and Fedora. That is what has been reported 
in the Linux Mags, etc, not my opinion.
