Dear All

Firstly, apologies for the inevitable cross posting.

NCC has been commissioned to build the use of Open Source by the UK
voluntary and community sector by the ICT Hub funded by the Home Office to
improve the sector's ICT infrastructure.

This new Open Source initiative, OS Hub, will help local community groups
benefit from Free and Open Source technology and will help Open Source
suppliers meet the sector's growing expectations.

To begin with we need to put together a snapshot of existing provision and
support, to that end we have created a rapid survey of either voluntary and
community organisations or suppliers and support organisations. We wish to
conduct a quick survey. This should not take long, and there is an excellent
prize to be drawn after the close of the survey on May 10th.

The short set of questions can be found on the web site at
http://www.ncc.co.uk/research/projects/os_hub.cfm Please respond to
OSHub at ncc.co.uk.

I hope that this is of some interest to you, and would also ask if that
you pass it on to anyone who might be interested.

Many thanks

Regards

Ed Downs
