[Lincs] Lincs LUG: relaunch?

As a previous lug.org.uk admin, on their behalf I would rather you didn't
use them too, because it's not what they are there for and they have enough
to do already... But fear not, as I said, I am not protective of my position
within the lug (which is only because lug.org.uk need a nominated point of
contact) , and if the lug wants you at the helm than I am more than happy to
notify lug.org.uk of the change of 'power', make you a facebook page admin,
et al.

I would just say, whilst it is all the rage in the middle east, I feel
completing the diplomatic side might have been nice before starting a coup,
registering domains, starting a twitter account, and subtly threatening to
involve external agencies.

This is not my lug, it has never been my lug, and I dare say this is the
first many knew of my position as 'lugmaster' - the lug has always been
about what the mass wants... so I would propose (for fairness) an
opportunity for others to stand forward as potential lugmasters, for
candidates to outline their plans, and the members to choose who they want.

This is probably an academic exercise as you may be the only one to stand
and everyone would rather an active lug than a dormant (not dead, never
dead) one... But I still feel in the interest of democracy and free choice
out should be done properly rather than "you've done nothing with it, I want
a go now".

Once you have been fairly chosen as lugmaster I will happily help you in any
way I can... As I have already said. If that means taking a place on the
board, I will, I'd it means becoming a normal member then I will... I will
not stand in your way!

Now lets do this properly, and get the lug moving again (again).
