Thanks for the update Bob. I think it makes sense to share out
responsibilities and let other people get involved as/when they want. It
also removes the burden from one single person and makes it easier for them.

I'd actually been thinking about the situation with the website just
recently and wanted to discuss fixing it. This was prompted by someone
asking me for details about LivLUG and having to explain that our website
doesn't work right now. That can't be right for a group of geeks like us,
it's embarrassing.

We should be using resources like this to help new people find us and get
involved. Right now it's difficult for people to find meetings. I know we
have the mailing list but that's just one channel and I think we need to
offer more options. I'm willing to help out with this as much as I can. Take
a turn making announcements, build up the website, maintain it and share any
other jobs.

I think Doof (Andrew Williams) is coming along this month. At least that's
what he said to me the other day. So it'll be great to see him if it
happens.

I can see what you mean about worries that this looks like some sort of
coup. I don't think it's like that at all, there is no animosity or desire
to be "the leader" here as you said. There are just jobs that need to be
done in running a proper LUG, and I'll do my shift. Anyone else is welcome.

This is beginning to ramble on so I'll leave it at that. Maybe we could all
discuss this at the meeting on Wednesday. Decide how we want to go forward.

I'll see you all there hopefully :)

Dan
