Hi All,

The fabulous finale of the Open CuRate It seminar series is in sight.
Who Owns It? <http://www.opencurateit.org/events/who-owns-it/>, a primer
and talk fest on open source culture and intellectual property law with
some very interesting presenters, will take place on the evening of
Tuesday, June 12th, 6-8.30pm. This event is co-presented with LJMU Open
Labs <http://www.ljmu.ac.uk/APS/OpenLabs/index.htm>, Open Source City
<http://opensourcecity.org.uk/>, and How? Why? DIY
<http://www.how-why-diy.defnetmedia.com/>. Reservations can be made at
http://whoownsit.eventbrite.com

On June 18th and 19th we have an Augmented Reality Layar
<http://www.opencurateit.org/events/augmented-reality-layar-workshop/>workshop
with Manifest.AR. In this workshop participants will learn how to create
simple location-based augmented reality artworks using the free platform
Layar (www.layar.com <http://www.layar.com>).

And on the 23rd and 30th of June we are running, in collaboration with
Mercy <http://mercyonline.co.uk>, Syntax: Coding for Writers
<http://www.opencurateit.org/events/syntax-coding-for-writers-or-textualists-of-any-description/>
(or textualists of any description). There are a couple of places still
available in this small and intensive workshop so visit the link for
more information on how to apply.

Please visit the Events <http://www.opencurateit.org/events/> section of
the website for more details, or email me directly to reserve places in
the workshops.

Cheers, Boo
