Want to sell it to me really cheaply? Linux doesnt work on them! They
are useless! Go on, sell it to me!

Seriously...

It runs great. What would you expect from Debian? ;)

I know a guy on OPN, (freenode now, ugh) that has debian on an ibook,
and one that has it on an ibook2.

PPC is the second most well supported architecture behind x86. At least
as far as the ammount of packages available for it is concerned (
http://buildd.debian.org/stats/graph-big.png ). (Thats over 9000 binary
packages).

Most things run great on PPC, including (On Sid) things like,
mozilla1.1, kde3.x, java1.3 etc. Some things aren't available. Real do
make a PPC-Linux realplayer, but macromedia don't make a flash plugin
thingie for PPC-linux for example.

2.4 Kernels have full support for all the hardware, including the
builtin modem thingie, usb, firewire, ethernet, audio...

The new version of MOL thats just been released supports using Mac OSX
in a window, kind of like vmware, but much faster.

Have a google for ibook+debian, I think I read an article on oreilly's
site about some guys experience with it (It was very possitive).

On the other hand, you could just sell it me, really cheaply... :)

Regards,
Gav
