I've got, and use, in order:

LPIC Exam Cram 2, Brunson
LPI Linux Certification in a Nutshell, Dean
Linux in a nutshell, Siever et al
Linux Cookbook, Schroder
Linux Quick Fix Notebook, Harrison

The combination works for me, I haven't decided yet which is best, but
the order tells you something.
