Antony,

Recently I've been using EZ publish (www.ez.no) for a couple of
projects. It might be of interest to you, I haven't really used zope
before, but I hear this is easier to get to grips with. It offers some
pretty nice features, including the things Pieter was on about and
support in the forums is pretty good. There's some online demos
(http://www.ez.no/ez_publish/cms) that show off various uses for it, see
what you think.
