I was a big Mandrake fan for a long time. They seemed to loose their way 
a little around the Mandriva time frame which is when I switched to 
Ubuntu (well via Debian to be fair). Breezy is good, but Dapper and Edgy 
are better! Dapper is rock solid and Edgy looks the business - 
especially the 3D bits (which isn't out of the box though). I'm still 
getting to know Edgy it has only been released (final version) for about 
2 weeks now.

It is! :D I would hate to have to go back to commuting every day.

I think we might have to. I don't know but maybe we could get away 
without if we explained we are non-profit organisation, simply 
advocating Linux as an operating system and looking for new members of 
the LUG. If we promise not the try and sell stuff we might get away with 
it. I was thinking I'd go to the next one I see advertised and see if I 
can spot someone to ask.
