I've now found the reference to the software under 'software' (surprise) and
have a working eGroupWare running on an Ubuntu 8.04 server.

 

Now I need to get familiar enough with it to put some appointments in and
then change the date on the server.

 

I assume that you are downloading the event.ics file from the 'Export iCal'
menu. I haven't yet been able to trace where this is downloaded to. Claims
to transfer data but wants to keep quiet about the location.
