[Deaf-lug] Web Cam on Ubuntu 8.10

You're better off sticking with Flash 10...it's a lot more stable than 9 on
Linux to be frank. And yes sadly it only use V4L2.

I can't check the forums at the moment (email on phone) but try searching
the Ubuntu forums about your webcam and V4L2 - the driver I believe is
called something like pwc (it might be Logitech, but the internals are
Philips - so pwc = Philips webcam(!)). I honestly can't remember if it does
work with V4L2, but as I mentioned...probably not as it's old, but still
worth checking out.
