Technical Specialist - an experienced 3rd line support technical specialist is required to provide hardware and software support for linux servers. 

Working for a truly unique company specialising in wifi technology you should have 2+ yrs experience supporting linux based applications & must be comfortable working in a non GUI environment. You should also be able to demonstrate knowledge of MySQL database queries, BASH shell scripting, perl scripting and working knowledge of Layer 2/3/4 communication.

This is a great career move for an experienced 2nd or 3rd Line Support person as you will be joining a company that is currently going from strength to strength and will go through a huge amount of expansion in 2007, while working with leading edge technology.

As well as the above skills it is essential you have a valid driving license. This role will be based in Newcastle.

It will pay about £28-32k we reckon. Start as soon as person is available.  It is a permanent position.
