Maurice
I am sorry that you feel that way, some times things can get a bit high
handed.
As with linux there are choices for everyone.
I started off with redhat about 5 years ago ( i still regard my self as
a bit of a newbie)then onto mandrake from verson 8.1 through to 9.1 now
onto Knoppix on the hard dirve my reson for change was purely for
package installation reasons, As the lug in Glastonbury has only been
going 18 months most of my expearence has come from books and magazines
and the Dorset lug before the Glasonbury one started.
People may get more into distro flame wars as there preferneces some
times thigs do get a off topic at times but this does not mean that
there is not useful information on the mailing list.
I am lucky that i have 2 computers my main pc wholy Linux and a laptop
that i experment with for different distros.
Regards
Peter
