Might try it if I carry on getting no joy with the parallel

If only it were that easy ...

It's copied the driver into /etc/cups/ppd/ I think this bit works.
I've checked through /etc/cups/cupsd.conf for permissions &c Most work except 
it doesn't seem possible to POST to /admin - see below.
