Why?

Maurice -- can we stop here and ask why you are making such allegations?
"You're not bright enough"... that is quite unfair. I think that if you
posted to say "sorry, I don't understand" to a reply to a query most, if
not all, of this list would try to re-word and help. It is wrong to
berate a list "en-masse" like this...
There are many different characters on this list, and that is great
because that is what community is about. You have folks who know things
in detail, and others who don't - you have folks who are great at
communicating and others who may not be... but please don't berate us
all because you don't like certain posts. Simply say that you need
something spelt out in layman's terms and I'm sure it will be done.

Month-on-month the Linux "novice experience" becomes better and better -
and I think that it will not be long before it catches Windows... give
it time. The genre is evolving from something very much business/tech
related to something which can also appeal to the home user who doesn't
have time to learn. But "Rome wasn't built in a day"...

If you are going to be insulting then I will not be sorry to see you go,
Maurice, though it will be with a heavy heart. It is a shame that you
could not see what LUGOG is about... some threads may be overly
technical, but most members are not. Please consider coming to a group
meeting -- I think you'd find that these demons that you believe we all
are actually turn out to be quite nice people :-)
