Whyever not?  That's where it's supposed to be.

Aaarrggh!

It is *so* much easier to read comments on text when it is there to be 
read, rather than have to wade through a whole post, then read the whole 
of the post that's being commented on (which you've already read once in 
any case, the first time it was posted or written), and do mental jumps 
from one back to the other.

PLEASE consider re-thinking the way you comment on other folks's e-mails.

I have a mail agent which I can set to drop everything after 4 lines of 
signature -- thus I never read these annoyingly long works of literature 
which (to my mind at least) serve no purpose whatsoever.

They're the spawn of marketroids and wannabe lawyers, and should be 
destroyed at birth.

Ummm ... try changing your language locale to something like Arabic ... 
you'ld probably find it invaluable then ...
