Occurs to me that rather than a forum it would make sense for the site 
to show posts to this list...

In this regard does anybody know if the lug.org.uk folks have installed 
this or similar?

If not, this might be another reason to move to our own implementation 
(via. Martin or whatever) of mailman...  I think the marketing potential 
of having the latest messages on the list actually appearing on the 
front page of the site is huge... people can then see that the group is 
"active".

This is precisely what the site is missing at present.
