Well, seeing as you already have one with Ubuntu why not install wine
and then try to see what Sage etc. do?
To install wine you merely go to Synaptic Package Manager, search for
"wine", click the install button and it will do the rest. Once
installed you merely load the CD/DVD for the software in question,
browse to it and click on the .exe file and it should do the rest.
Or bring it on Monday morning when you come to visit me and we'll do
it together!
