probably more applicable to web designers who use linux, but fyi:
ie6 was officially released the other day, as I'm sure you'll all know
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/default.htm
one interesting[tm] feature is the image toolbar
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/evaluation/overview/flexible.asp
the reason I mention this being that the default action is for it to be
"on", at least for images that meet IE's own custom list of rules for
applicable images. as such, anyone building a website and not using IE6
might not be aware that this could be happening to their images.
and if you're wondering how to turn it on/off, msdn, as ever, is the base of
all knowledge ;)
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/workshop/misc/mypictures/
mypictures_ovw.asp
dunno whether I like the feature or not, but probably a tad annoying the
default is on.
murray.
ps. auto-image resizing? cyberdog? 3 years ago?
pps. if you have ie6 and are looking for an example, try www.dilbert.com
