I once moved one of my servers from where it was sitting to the rack
without turning the thing off. Needless to say, the combined weight of
an Athlon 500 (relatively light) and a UPS (relatively heavy) was
enough to make me question Terry Pratchett's work ethic of "indoor
work, no heavy lifting" which should be every good sysadmin's
mantra.... 

I realised that, indeed, the man knew what he was talking about.
