Don't quote me, i havent tried this, but if procmail
runs how i think it runs you should be able to do the
following and it will work fine. ymmv.

create a new user account
from that account use fetchmail to retrieve the mail
from your mbox on your other local account.
log in to your main account and run fetchmail from
there to your dummy account. fetchmail then delevers
via procmail which sorts out your mail for you.

Its a longshot.
