opps. Hadn't enabled external access on the firewall for port 22:).  I
gotta get to bed earlier so I can think straight.

One bitch about the smoothwall mail list archives is that it ain't
easily searchable.  You can only do email requests and get index's
(subject, author) of the messages, then search that message then make
another request for thread, very tedious.  And frustrating when I
realised the answer to my dilemma.
