[Gllug] 1u rackmounted servers

With these 1U rackmounted web servers such as the Cobalt ones, it looks
like they don't have a floppy or CD drive. So how do you install the OS
on it in the first place? Are you stuck with their pre-installed one or
am I mistaken and they all have drives tucked away round the back or
something? Can you somehow boot them from another computer attached via
ethernet or serial port and then format/mount the hard drive? Even with
network installs you need the kernel and basic filesystem stuff on a
floppy don't you?
I just need a general hint to reassure me it's possible without too much
hassle and then I can sort out the details.
