And the reboots for win2k are quicker than for NT4.  With Win2k they 
achieved this by sleight of hand - your user login session starts before 
all services are started, so you have your pretty desktop but may not be 
able to do anything much (especially anything network related) for 
another couple of minutes.

Not that the speed of reboot is so important - unless you use an OS that 
requires frequent reboots.
