Yes and yes, if you get it set up at your end OK

You'll want a gateway box running a firewall of some sorts with NAT and port 
forwarding - choice is yours, but I'm using Smoothwall (www.smoothwall.org) 
with no complaints (except delays on new version!) Oh, and go for an ethernet 
ADSL modem/router not USB
