I got to do the PACE pcb repair course three times in my last job and it
involved microscopes fume extractors and all sort of dodgy looking equipment
all required to work on todays boards. If you have the time and equipment
fixing these things is not too hard but rebuilding a hole in a five layer
board would take a long time.
