We use dozen of U2 Acme boxes at work Dual Athlon Diskless nodes they
run at 100% CPU load 24/7 with their entire file system loaded into
memory via NFS.  We run fans on the northbridge as well as push and pull
fans at the front and rear of the box.

Once we have burnt the components in on a test bench for a few days we
can confidently move them to the production environment.
