That seems to be what I need, time for some reading.
I spent some time trying to get a local mail hub with fetchmail to work
in daemon mode and collect mail from Demon for all local users, but I think
I have sorted that problem. I was trying to get it to do a test run in
parallel with an existing system, so set the options to fetchall, keep
(leave mail on the Demon server), and not bounce anything, but it refused to
start at all except in debug-run mode. I eventually gave up trying and
decided to leave it running in debug mode. It started running correctly in
daemon mode as soon as I removed the fetchall, keep, and no bounces options.
