Hi Wayne,

You could try a Pulsar PCI ADSL Modem which has full Linux support.

The Linux driver also includes PPPoA support so you'll have no problems 
getting it to work in the UK.

I should point out that I do have a vested interest here as I work for the 
manufacturer on the Pulsar development team.
