I cannot remember which eastern country that its in but there is an abacus
competition there every year and the entrants are normally about 12 and they
can crunch numbers faster than someone with a keyboard or calculator. During
the competition they are not allowed to have the abacus or whatever the
thing is called with them but have to visualise the movements. The numbers
that they where crunching where enormous.
