Well, I've got an ST318404L here and it just works.

(Via Sun, but admittedly I haven't had it for years so I can't be sure
what its lifespan is. And in fact the other disk in the same machine is
a Fujitsu MAJ3182M...)

This is a Single Connector Adapter (SCA).

A search for `80-pin 68-pin SCSI' on Google yields many hits for exactly
those adapters. It took less than six seconds to do that search.

(Why does nobody use the tools they've got available? --- but that's a
rant for another day.)
