Dunno about the graphical aspect, but deadrat asks for 48meg to do a
netinstall thesedays.

It's a DELL Pentium classic with 32meg or RAM, and he wants a full Microsoft
equivilant desktop, streaming ASX files, an office suite, etc.

This is what I have told him.... if he wants something to perform a fair
test on, then get a PC he would expect to run windows on. His IT manager
has told him, "if it will run on this, it will run on anything" but refuses
to let them test on a "real" PC.
He wants to get the "latest" software, over, and I quote, "some old modem
they have given me" - this could be painful. All he has is a SUSE-Live-eval
CD from the front of Linux Magazine.
I am going to try and convince him to use my laptop for a few days instead
(Compaq P3/700, 1024x768 in 24bit colour, 128meg ram, 8gig disk - it's my
"spare" since I upgraded - but it runs deadrat and Helix fine)
