I am planning on doing something similar. I have an old 10mb card that I can
use to the Router and the other nic will be on the safe side. Not sure how
to set this up but I am sure I will figure it out after a few days head
scratching. The Router I am going for has got the trappings of NAT and ip
filtering but i want to do it at the gateway to get a better understanding
of iptables.

I think someone else is going for a Conexant from dabs that has a firewall.
