So far people seem to be coming out in favour of HSBC, Lloyds/TSB and
Citibank (either on list or in emails) Co-op and Smile also feature in
the list. Time to go and hunt about on google to see which is the most
"ethical" If I'm moving bank, I might as well try and find one that
treats the world with a bit of respect. Wishy-washy lefty that I am.

Good customer service would be a bonus. I'm not an overly demanding
customer, but I'd like it if the bank occasionally offered some
suggestions about how best to manage my cash given my spending habits
and cash flow.

With fear of going OT, what are people's experiences like? Any
recommendations? Any must-avoids? Let's take it as read that NatWest
has successfully pushed themselves out of the running.

Yeah, their service sucks large rocks through small straws. Until
recently I had the luxury of a graduate account and loads of extra
goodies that go with it, but that's about to expire (3 years out of
uni) so there's no reason to stay.

Cheers,

Simon
