George,

>Dermot, I have done this trick in the past, there are some issues
>1} the version of ghost you used

I haven't made the image yet. I can use either Ghost 2002 Personal Edition
(i.e. ghostpe.exe) or Ghost 2003 (ghost.exe). i.e. neither is the
Enterprise Edition.

>2} if you spanned the 3 CD's then no problem

I was planning to span them. Though I haven't spanned before. If I do span
them can I ignore the cautions in the rest of your message? i.e I just want
to put the whole thing on the 1 partition.
I've replaced images of Windows stuff before so I have a fair idea of
what I'm doing.

By the way, will the floppy made on the original Linux be able to direct
things to boot the later one i.e. boot from a different hard drive?

Thanks for the prompt response,
Dermot
