Is that what that Kinternet thing is?

I don't know if it's a winmodem. It's a Topic something or other. A 2nd
hand job. Both Linuxes (Mandrake and Suse) certainly want nothing to do
with it. It had a bit of paper with it that told how to use it with Linux.
It did not work!

How can I get to this kppp thing?
By the way, I can now get the external modem to screech and wail, having
changed the /etc/wvdial.conf file and then hitting wvdial. Unfortunately
that's all that happens.

I've done that and it seems to be okay.
Thanks Andrew
Dermot.
