I remember there is a Weatherspoons somewhere near Holborn that I've been to that has a non-smoking area that always seems to be empty with plenty of table room.  They do cheap beer and food, all depends if this is central enough and how smokers feel about sneaking off to different area to poison themselves:).

Also getting a separate mailing list set up would be a useful start.  Can we get this done through gllug?
