Java makes it easier for people who don't fully understand the issues and/or
have proper training/experience to write serious code/systems.  Not
dis-similar to some of the horrible things created in VB in the past.  And
I'm sure .Net will only make this problem more prevalent.

On the plus side, for anyone who is trained/experienced and does have a
reasonable level of understanding - there will be a never ending line of
work fixing existing systems...which is maybe why all good sysadmins are so
cynical ;-)
