[Gllug] Alcatel speedtouch modem

i got it working with mandrake ok,

alacatel have some of the files you need on thier site, i needed to get 
a windows exe and the linux solution 'sucked' the firmware code out of 
it, and the howto worked fine for me although the modem is a bit 
unreliable, if i do ifdown ppp0 (the dsl) i will usually have to try and 
bring it up 10 times before it comes back, always works first time tho,
