Price!  Seriously though, look at the review sites and pay attention to the
benchmarks that show CPU usage during testing.  This will usually point out
the "softRAID" versions as apposed to the Hardware RAID.  Be careful though
because I think there is at least one out there that does both, depending on
which RAID level you are doing.
