I remember i used to have monkey linux (2.0.x and + 3.x), that fitted on 25
MB + hen i wanted to use netscape 5 MB on top. I still tend to use it on
systems that require low memory and low disc space (flash stations) but with
2.2 and it is little bigger. Oh, i almost forgot - this system boots from DOS
using loadlin.exe :] But you can setup lilo to boot it.
