More info would be a help lspci will give you nice info on your video
card and other goodies, also if you have the original monitor specs that
too should help.

If people ask you for information and you are not sure how to get it
please ask some one here will know how to do it.

Seem like a good idea for an installfest or gllug talk 'How to get
information on your system so other Gllugers can help'.
