When I was joe-jobbed once, I got hit by half a million (!) bounce and
complaint mails at once while I was on holiday and away from the net.
Demon seemed to be happy to store that massive outsplurge for the week
it took for me to get back; cleaning it up was *vastly* annoying,
though.
(More recently I was down for a week while moving and 24000 mails get
stored. No problems there, either.)
