[Gllug] hardware information through linux

Hi,

If I wanted to list hardware info on a linux box, I
might use:

lspci
cat /proc/interrupts
cat /proc/cpuinfo

or I could use a graphical tool like hwinfo on redhat

Are there any cross-distro command line tools that query
hardware and dump it to stdout? I appreciate I could
write a script to get quite a bit but I'm wondering
if a comprehensive tool already exists.

BTW, if I have hardware raid, is there any way for
the O/S to see the raid setup or is that totally
driver dependant? (it's a megaraid driver for the
dell poweredge).
