KDE *bashing*? Compared to GNOME, it's glorious: wonderfully integrated
and with all sorts of nifty bits of configurability all over the shop.

And the shell-script access to DCOP and things makes the CORBA stuff in
GNOME look pathetic, although notably GNOME seems to be pulling CORBA
and Bonobo components *out* of everything now... KDE is very heavily
componented, and gets a lot more work out of a lot less code. GNOME,
well, it doesn't seem to be componented at all. If it wasn't for
<http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=47320>, Konqueror would be my
default web browser: I actually find myself using it instead of the
shell at times, which is very unusual for me.

Plus it looks much cooler than GNOME. :)
