nope I have 1gig (! - good for gimp). But thanks for reminding me: I
was going to see if turning off the highmem support made any difference.
It will let me try software suspend too.

If it turns out that cute fish get me no closer to finding what is
eating my CPU, if there is no apparent process responsible, does that
mean the kernel is playing up?
