Have you pointed him in the direction of dasher? It's a truly awesome
piece of software, and words can't really describe it. You have to see
it in action. When combined with applications that support accessibility
via alternate input methods (e.g., recent GNOME apps), it's without doubt
the best interface I've seen on any platform for those with disabilities
that prevent them from using a keyboard.
